Protection of informant

① We do not disclose the ID of the informant or any information suggesting it without consent of the informant. And we will protect evidence provided by the informant or information collected in connection with the report, any content that may allude to the person to be consulted and follow-ups on the result after report, etc.
② In the process of confirming the facts of the report, we will protect those who cooperated with the investigation by making statements or providing data on an equal basis with the informant.

① Information of the informant and the contents of reports are treated under strict confidentiality,
Ethics Hotline system is under protection of safe security system.
② Handling of reports is carried out by limited number of personnel who keep the information regarding the reports confidential.
③ Necessary measures, such as disciplinary action, will be taken against those who inform others
of the informant's personal information or information that can be deduced that he or she is an informant.
④ In case the unfavorable measures taken against or the punishment of the informant are recognized to have been incurred
by the report, restitution or equivalent compensation shall be made.
⑤ When the informant reports corruption or irregularities involving the informant himself/herself,
a reasonable treatment will be followed in full consideration of the extenuating circumstances.
